About The Position

The position is an accounting role with the potential for growth into a Lead Accounting position. The primary focus will be on processing financial information, including billing and profit and loss statements, while maintaining accurate financial records for the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Equivalent Degree
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years equivalent office / accounting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Strong ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Customer service orientation
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, Outlook, QuickBooks Enterprise

Responsibilities

  • Maintains company financial records
  • Checks figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
  • Classifies, records, and summarizes numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using computer entry.
  • Debits, credits, and total accounts
  • Receives, records, and banks cash, checks, and vouchers
  • Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Compiles statistical, financial, and accounting or auditing reports and tables of cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable and profits and losses.
  • Reconciles or notes and reports discrepancies found in records.
