About The Position

The position involves managing various accounting functions, including financial analysis, reconciliation of accounts, and preparation of tax returns. The role requires collaboration with the finance team to enhance accounting controls and streamline processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, or equivalent is required
• Two to seven (2-7) years of accounting or other relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)
• CPA or similar accreditation (bonus points)
• Proven experience with accounting principles (GAAP), general ledger tasks, and month/year-end close processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (mastery over vlookups and Pivot Tables).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Netsuite experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information to reconcile GL accounts and prepare journal entries.
• Reconcile bank accounts and perform daily banking activities.
• Collect data and maintain ownership of preparing federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Oversee corporate card administration, manage payroll workflows, and assist in streamlining vendor management processes.
• Maintain and enhance accounting controls while always looking for ways to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with gathering documentation for internal and external audits, making the process as smooth as possible.
• Jump in on ad-hoc reports and projects, helping the finance team tackle whatever comes our way.
