About The Position
The Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Accountant 3. Under the supervision of the Financial Reporting Manager, the Accountant 3 is responsible for assisting in the preparation, posting and reconciling of all daily cash disbursements; monitoring disbursement requests for appropriateness and authorization; assists in preparing reports including the daily cash sheet, budget reports, month end financials, Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), Governmental Accounting Standards Board Statement No. 68 (GASB 68) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board Statement No. 75 (GASB 75), and the Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) production; assists in maintaining and reconciling the internal database General Ledger (GL) and performing other related duties as assigned. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
