About The Position

Just Play is seeking an Account Specialist. The role is responsible for accurately setting up, maintaining, and managing product data within Target’s systems to ensure seamless item onboarding, execution, and lifecycle management. This role supports both in-store and target.com item execution and works cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Packaging, and Finance to ensure all items meet Target’s requirements and launch on time.  This role will also help sales team with internal processes (samples, quotes, new item management, and ad hoc requests)  To ensure success as an Account Specialist, the ideal candidate will have previous experience working within Target, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and data management tools.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in retail operations
  • Experience working within Target
  • Strong attention to detail and ownership of data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and data management tools
  • Some domestic travel required - approximately 10%

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Direct vendor experience working with Target
  • Experience supporting digital item execution and content maintenance
  • Understanding of packaging, logistics, and retail compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting line reviews, item quotes, and sample coordination

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end item setup in Target systems, including new item introductions, item maintenance, and discontinuations
  • Enter and maintain accurate product data including item attributes, dimensions, UPCs, case packs, costs, pricing, and packaging details
  • Maintain and update target.com item content, ensuring accuracy of descriptions, images, specs, and digital attributes
  • Coordinate and process sample requests for internal teams, Target buyers, and Target.com needs
  • Prepare and manage item quotes
  • Ensure compliance with Target’s data standards, digital requirements, and vendor timelines
  • Manage item changes such as cost updates, import and domestic, pack changes, item transitions, and item extensions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve item setup issues, data errors, and chargebacks related to item inaccuracies
  • Partner with Sales to support line reviews, item launches, item extensions, and promotional planning
  • Monitor item setup status and proactively communicate risks or delays
  • Maintain process documentation and best practices for Target system execution
  • Track and follow-up on order inquiries, and hard orders to ensure on-time shipping.
  • Act as a liaison between our Hong Kong office and the customer regarding follow up on item selection, orders, quotes, etc.
  • Assist with management of key internal documents to support the account including forecasts, Sales Specials, and Images
