About The Position

This position is a vital support role and serves as a key connector between customer-facing processes and warehouse execution. This role requires a high level of proactivity, ownership, and teamwork to drive both customer satisfaction and operational excellence. The long-term goal for this role is to become a Seasoned proficient Account Specialist and service our growing list of customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned customer accounts and ensure customer requirements are accurately executed.
  • Process inbound and outbound orders in alignment with customer expectations and company procedures.
  • Communicate with customers with clarity, professionalism, and urgency regarding order status, issues, and resolutions.
  • Initiate NCRs (non-conformance reports) to address and prevent product quality or service issues.
  • Perform invoicing and rate verification as per contractual terms.
  • Maintain accurate inventory reconciliation and escalate discrepancies in a timely manner to leadership.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns proactively when necessary.
  • Support audit readiness and maintain process integrity at all times.
  • Schedule and reschedule inbound and outbound shipments ensuring that flow of goods supports customer service expectations and warehouse capacity.
  • Maintain real-time visibility on shipping and receiving accuracy with a proactive approach to correcting errors.
  • Coordinate rail freight activities when required.
  • Report scheduling issues to leadership in a timely manner with proposed solutions.
  • Participate in physical inventories and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain full awareness of daily workload and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth execution.
