About The Position

Lift Off Distribution is the exclusive off-premise distributor of Red Bull Energy Drink for Maryland, Northern Virginia, Richmond, Hampton Roads and Washington DC. We work daily to ensure that we are executing the highest level of service that is deserving of our brand. Red Bull is a world-class brand, available in more than 171 countries, and we know that we are privileged to represent a premium product. The Sales team is looking to add a passionate team member that is looking for the opportunity to represent a premium product. Duties include sales, delivery, merchandising, and customer service when Account Managers are unavailable to cover their route.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Sales and delivery experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
  • This position requires general lifting of 45lbs and lifting with a handcart of up to 200lbs.
  • Position requires bending, reaching, and kneeling.
  • Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Background check.
  • Must possess a valid drivers' license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record check.

  • Sales and delivery experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
  • Collects money, checks, money orders from customers and records transactions on customer's receipt.
  • Sells and delivers products or renders services to Customer using Company provided vehicle over an established route.
  • Works with Customers to expand on sales opportunities within the store through the use of secondary placements such as coolers, displays, and racks.
  • Merchandises stock on shelves or racks.
  • Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
  • Ensures that product is properly priced and present on all shelves, coolers, and displays.
  • Provides sales information regarding any programs that will benefit the Customer.
  • Resolves issues for Customer regarding product and pricing.
