This is an Account Manager position for the Midsouth Seller Investment Initiative. As part of our effort to allocate customers to the right roles, build optimal territories, and drive growth, approximately 60 incremental sales roles will be added to the Midsouth geography. Unlike a traditional interview and hiring process, the exact number, location and CSG makeup of the available roles will not be known until after the market build is completed in June. All qualified applicants who progress to the interview stage of this process will receive feedback to aid and assist in their future development. Qualified applicants for this role will have been actively developing toward this role and will have aligned on readiness with their current leader prior to application. Account Managers will produce positive sales growth for a specific geography or vertical market with an average of 30-35 current accounts and an average of $2M to $3.5M dollars annually. Use Grainger's Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Salesforce, to perform all the aspects of business daily. You will report to the District Sales Manager.
