About The Position

The Account Resolutions Supervisor at EECU is responsible for leading a team of over 10 direct reports in the collections department. This role focuses on achieving individual and group goals while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The supervisor will provide ongoing coaching and development, manage recruitment, and handle performance management in collaboration with the Account Resolutions Manager.

Requirements

• Proven supervisory leadership experience with a team of 10 or more.
• Four years of experience in consumer and mortgage lending and automobile collections in a servicing environment.
• Minimum of three years of customer service experience.
• High level of experience with deceased, bankruptcy accounts, and repossessions.
• Ability to supervise the repossession and remarking process.
• In-depth knowledge of collection laws and bankruptcy laws.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Bilingual in Spanish, able to read, write, and speak.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of over 10 direct reports in the Account Resolutions department.
• Ensure individual and group goals are consistently achieved.
• Provide ongoing coaching and development to team members through daily interactions.
• Collaborate with the Account Resolutions Manager to ensure compliance with credit union guidelines.
• Identify training opportunities for current staff and assist in the development of new hires.
• Manage recruitment and performance management processes throughout the year.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal and State rules and regulations related to collections.
• Attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
