About the position
We are currently looking for Account Resolution Specialists to join our Agency Collections team in Cleveland, Ohio. Our Account Resolution Specialists/Collectors work in a call center environment within our professional law office setting. They are responsible for making outbound calls and taking inbound calls. They notify and/or locate consumers with delinquent accounts and attempt to secure payments according to compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Weltman's guidelines, and client standards. Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls and take inbound calls to notify and locate consumers with delinquent accounts.
- Attempt to secure payments in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
- Follow Weltman's guidelines and client standards in all communications and collections efforts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- 1-year consistent work experience required, preferably in hospitality, customer service, call center, or sales.
- Accurate typing and data entry skills.
- Consistently achieves 85% or better on monthly revenue goals.
- Knowledge of basic computer operation, including internet research.
- Maintains composure in difficult situations.
- Communicates effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must pass background check and drug screen.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.
