About The Position

The Account Resolution Specialist at Palmetto Infusion is responsible for managing account receivables and resolving disputed and denied claims to reduce the number of aged accounts. Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Previous experience in medical collection/account resolution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to cope with an ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to develop productive working relationships.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in healthcare billing or coding.
• Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage account receivables and reduce aged accounts by resolving disputed and denied claims.
• Ensure accurate payments are made in accordance with payer contracts.
• Review account balances and resolve accounts/invoices by partnering with insurance companies and/or patients.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for claims reprocessing or resubmission.
• Coordinate with the Intake team and contracts team to ensure accuracy of information on patient accounts to avoid disputes or underpayments.
• Participate in end-of-month closing procedures.
