About The Position

As an Account Representative with Monterey Financial, you will help consumers take control of their financial future by utilizing excellent customer service and negotiating skills. Requirements

Reliability and the desire to learn
Excellent communication, active listening and problem solving skills
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Comfortable with fast-paced environments
Basic math and typing skills
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
Effectively identify and solve problems
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Basic credit and/or collection knowledge a plus
Customer Service Experience or Call Center Experience (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

Assist consumers with account level questions and adjustments
Negotiate and process payment on accounts in various stages of delinquency
Understand and adhere to MFS and Client policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
