About The Position
Kimball Midwest is experiencing significant growth in Monmouth County and is actively seeking motivated, growth-minded individuals interested in starting a career in sales. As a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) products, Kimball Midwest has established a strong presence with over 1000+ Sales Representatives across the country. The company has seen remarkable growth, achieving nearly $500 million in sales last year, and is on track to double its sales every five years. This success is attributed to the quality of its people, particularly within the sales force, which is why Kimball Midwest is committed to finding individuals who possess the ability, desire, and dedication to grow alongside the company. To facilitate the professional development of its employees, Kimball Midwest has created the Account Representative Program. This program is specifically designed for individuals who are new to outside sales and begins with a structured two-year training and developmental period. During this time, participants will work full-time as entry-level Outside Sales Representatives, benefiting from a compensation plan that includes a base salary, bonuses, and commissions. The development process within the program includes a combination of classroom-based learning, online product training, and hands-on practice alongside Divisional Trainers and experienced Sales Representatives. Participants will acquire essential skills such as prospecting and cold-calling local businesses, conducting hands-on product demonstrations, understanding the differences between transactional and systems selling, navigating the sales cycle, building relationships, and developing and maintaining a book of business. The ultimate goal of the program is to prepare participants for a successful transition into an Outside Sales role with Kimball Midwest.
