About The Position

In the role of Account Rep I, you will be working in Clinical Practice Services. You will perform basic tasks in the area of claims submissions, posting, and/or account follow-up utilizing billing computer software. This role requires 100% onsite presence.

Requirements

• Knowledge of quality control, customer service standards, information management, procedural process, and recordkeeping.
• Computer, technical, interpersonal, oral communication, listening, and patience skills.
• Minimum Required Education: High school diploma
• Minimum Required Experience: 2 years

Responsibilities

• Review, Post, or Follow-up on claims; may include obtaining required documentation such as EOB's, EOMB's and Medical Records.
• Sort, Batch, Scan and/or Post payer correspondence.
• Organize on-site copying, scanning and execution of all incoming and outgoing correspondence.
• Develop and review internal and external reports from various payers and vendors.
• Communicate via phone with third party carriers, and obtain required documentation as needed. Inform appropriate Department of updates.
• Work special projects as assigned by Supervisor.
