About The Position

The Account Operations Specialist II at Cox Automotive serves as the primary point of contact for resolving client issues related to vehicle accounts, ranging from simple to complex. This role involves collaborating with auction teams and various stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns regarding vehicle conditions and discrepancies. The specialist coordinates sale vehicle run processes, maintains communication with auction departments to ensure proper movement and organization of client inventory, and oversees the timely completion of reconditioning services. Responsibilities also include building positive relationships with clients, examining vehicles to ensure quality standards, completing estimates for reconditioning services, and conducting condition reports to mitigate risks. The position requires adherence to Cox standards and guidelines, proficiency in computer software, and a commitment to safety protocols.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field, or 5 years' experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Physical ability and mental acuity to execute duties within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving client issues for accounts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to vehicle condition and discrepancies.
  • Coordinate sale vehicle run processes and maintain communication with auction departments.
  • Build positive relationships with assigned clients and examine vehicles to ensure quality standards.
  • Complete estimates for reconditioning services and conduct condition reports.
  • Educate clients on auction processes and recommend/up-sell products and services.
  • Demonstrate effective prioritization skills and professionalism in client relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with PII policies and procedures while delivering customer service.
  • Participate in safety activities and adhere to safety and health procedures.
