About The Position

The Account Operations Specialist II serves as the primary point of contact for resolving client issues for accounts ranging from simple to complex. This role involves collaborating with auction teams and various stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns related to vehicle condition and discrepancies. The specialist coordinates sale vehicle run processes and maintains direct communication with other auction departments to ensure appropriate movement and organization of client inventory and timely completion of reconditioning services. The position requires building positive relationships with assigned clients, examining vehicles in the sales lineup to ensure standards and quality, completing estimates for reconditioning services, and conducting condition report and imaging audits to reduce the risk of policy loss and goodwill expenses. The specialist must demonstrate proficient knowledge of condition report data and vehicle inspection processes, educate clients on auction processes, and recommend or upsell Manheim/CAI products and services based on client needs. The role also involves maintaining strict adherence to Cox standards and guidelines regarding reconditioning services and participating in safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field, or a different combination such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline, or 5 years' experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving client issues for accounts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to vehicle condition and discrepancies.
  • Coordinate sale vehicle run processes and maintain communication with auction departments.
  • Build positive relationships with assigned clients and examine vehicles in the sales lineup.
  • Complete estimates for reconditioning services and conduct condition report and imaging audits.
  • Educate clients on auction processes and recommend or upsell products and services.
  • Demonstrate effective prioritization skills and professionalism in client relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with PII policies and procedures while delivering customer service.
  • Maintain adherence to Cox standards and guidelines regarding reconditioning services.
  • Participate in safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
