About The Position
Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth! Due to this growth, we are in search of highly motivated Account Manager to oversee accounts in the greater Hartford, CT area. Territory: Hartford, CT - this position requires daily travel to accounts. Must be willing to on the road daily (mileage reimbursed). The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $78,000. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors.
Requirements
- Proven solid history of experience in service/operations environment (5 + years)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and has the solid ability to develop relationships with accounts and onsite staff
- Extremely motivated and enjoys the fast-paced environment of traveling directly to customer sites daily
- Problem solver that can multi task and think on his/her feet and think outside of the box
- Proficient in writing business letters, price quotations and proposals
- Must be Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Is proactive with customer retention - shows passion, energy and commits
- Willing to drive to accounts on a daily basis
Responsibilities
- Manage key accounts
- Examine cost, inventory and product utilization data with customers
- Develop relationships with key decision makers within the healthcare community from housekeeper level on up to administrators / owners
- Active participation in linen committee meetings, linen awareness programs and positively represent Unitex at resident / family council meetings on healthcare facility sites
- Participate and set account installations and appropriate schedules with new account administration, departing vendors, and plant production staff to ensure a smooth transition
- Achieve profit and loss objectives; controls costs; uses financial analyses; operates within budget guidelines
- Review and interpret reports; probes, audits and examines new information; uses information to improve performance
- Interact daily with Unitex production and service departments to any quality and/or quantity issues
- Create presentations and linen utilization reports
- Review service agreements and renews contracts
