Mohawk Global is currently seeking an Account Manager to support the Domestic Transportation team and manage specific high-volume account(s). The Account Manager will report to the Director of Domestic Services and must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in account management or high-level customer support role.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of demonstrated account management, or other relevant experience, in the Domestic 3PL industry required
  • Strong knowledge of Domestic supply chain management, FTL, LTL, IMDL, and expedited services required
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, present, and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on client needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and demonstrate strong problem solving capabilities
  • Must understand impact of revenue on P&L statements
  • Possess understanding of business principles and language, including fundamentals of finance and profitability, and apply this knowledge to achieve results and to increase Mohawk’s performance and profitability
  • Ability to travel as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration or similar discipline preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate as lead point of contact for strategic matters specific to assigned client(s)
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with assigned account(s), client stakeholders, and executive sponsors
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of Mohawk’s solutions according to client needs and objectives, including KPI development and delivery to client(s)
  • Develop and revise SOPs for each assigned client as appropriate and subsequently communicate SOPs and/or changes both internally and externally as necessary
  • Ensure SOP compliance among stakeholders both internally and with assigned clients
  • Clearly and regularly, communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with high priority requests, bids, and exception management
  • Conduct regular analysis of pricing to ensure its alignment with service requirements and market conditions (All domestic modes)
  • Work with Mohawk’s accounting team to ensure receivables are within agreed terms for assigned clients
  • Provide leadership and guide teams in distribution of work for assigned accounts
  • Apply consultative selling and effective negotiation techniques to secure, grow and maintain profitable business within assigned client base
  • Uncover new opportunities with assigned client(s)
  • Conduct regular, in-person meetings with assigned client(s)
  • Identify all buying influences within assigned client(s)
  • Identify and understand each client’s needs and develop profitable solutions to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of Mohawk’s client(s) strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Stay abreast of industry changes, trends, and market changes that may impact Mohawk’s client base.
  • Achieve designated net revenue goals and growth targets with assigned client(s)
  • Strive for “best in class” performance by consistently exceeding standards and achieving extraordinary results
