Job Summary The Account Manager I, Physician & Leadership, develops effective partnerships with facility client administrators and decision-makers. You will use a consultative approach to secure new contracts, increase customer share with current accounts, and generate and fill orders to ultimately drive growth in revenue and market share.

Requirements

  • Strategic approach combining personalized outreach and consistent follow-up
  • Excellent, clear and detailed telephone, written and oral communication skills
  • Must possess a strong understanding of project management expectations
  • Experience managing both clients and candidates throughout the search process
  • Able to handle critical information and confidential situations on occasion
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and accomplish work in order of priority
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a rapport with people on all levels
  • Associate's Degree plus 0-2 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 2-4 years of work experience
  • Experience in sales or account management

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and cultivates long-term, effective partnerships with facility clients to gain in-depth knowledge of their current staffing trends and future needs.
  • Prioritizes leads generated to prospect and qualify facility clients.
  • Generate client opportunities within a territory, identifying potential leads, and engaging with prospects using a variety of outreach methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media postings.
  • Negotiates contract terms (i.e,. bill rates and other language and metrics) with client contacts and prepares new client contracts.
  • Updates all internal collaborators in real time using placement statuses and tasks to deliver the most qualified candidates to the client on time.
  • Ability to manage clients and providers through the entire life cycle, including ongoing management of clients with working providers.
  • Identifies and pursues opportunities during client interactions to introduce new or different Physician and Leadership business solutions, and/or cross-sells solutions with other AMN divisions.
