About The Position

This role is responsible for generating revenue by managing existing client relationships. The focus is on supporting current Provider clients by understanding their Epic staffing needs, aligning the right consulting talent to open roles, and ensuring consistently high levels of service and support. Acting as a liaison between Tegria, our consultants, and our clients, this role ensures staffing requests are fulfilled efficiently while delivering an exceptional client and consultant experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, IT, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically, 2 – 4 years of progressive experience in account management or staffing within healthcare IT, professional services, or consulting environments.
  • Experience working in healthcare IT services or staffing solutions, with direct exposure to Epic or other major EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, MEDITECH).
  • Proven experience working with healthcare provider organizations, including interaction with IT, clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience managing the full staffing lifecycle, including intake of client requirements, candidate screening, submissions, interviews, placements, extensions, and offboarding.
  • Experience operating within Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and collaborating with MSPs and procurement teams.
  • Account management experience, including development and execution of account plans, opportunity qualification, and long-term relationship growth.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with recruiters, delivery teams, finance, and legal to support staffing engagements and client needs.
  • Proficiency using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and maintain accurate opportunity and account data.
  • Strong experience communicating with and presenting to senior leaders, including directors, VPs, and executives, in complex and fast-paced environments.
  • Establish credibility by demonstrating knowledge of the Epic Ecosystem: Epic implementation lifecycle: Planning, Build, Testing, Training. Go-live, Optimization / upgrades.
  • Common Epic roles and skill sets: Application Analysts (by module), Trainers, Willow / Resolute / Cadence / OpTime specialists, Interface, reporting, and data roles
  • Demonstrate understanding of how staffing actually works in this niche. Contract vs contract-to-hire vs SOW-based engagements Rate structures and margin drivers Consultant utilization concepts
  • Has process fluency in VMS environments: How provider procurement teams use VMS tools Compliance, submission rules, and scoring models Relationship strategies within VMS constraints
  • To provide delivery quality, must understand: Consultant onboarding requirements Time and expense processes Issue escalation and remediation Offboarding and knowledge transfer best practices
  • To balance client needs, consultant expectations, and margin, must be familiar with: Rate negotiation strategies Managing client pushback Balancing speed vs quality vs cost
  • Able to: Work successfully with minimal supervision and wide latitude for independent judgement.
  • Deliver quality results for clients, consultants and Tegria. Meet targets for revenue and margin. Balances client needs, consultant expectations, and margin appropriately.
  • Identify opportunities and take initiative to capitalize on them.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring clear, timely, and proactive communication on all staffing requests.
  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with consultants through regular check-ins, performance feedback, and ongoing engagement.
  • Oversee consultant lifecycle activities, including onboarding, check-ins, performance management, time and expense approvals, and transition/offboarding planning.
  • Maintain resource oversight throughout each engagement to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor vendor management systems (VMS) for new roles; evaluate to business fit and enter opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Work with VMS vendors on relationship building and maintenance requests.
  • Keep Salesforce in sync with VMS listings and make sure opportunities stay up to date with the latest details.
  • Work across internal teams and relationship owners to deliver a seamless, unified client experience.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce (or CRM) documentation throughout the entire sales and staffing workflow, ensuring complete and up-to-date data.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of staffing requests from intake through placement, ensuring clear communication and timely execution.
  • Review resumes and screen candidates to ensure alignment with customer needs, and skillset fit.
  • Submit qualified candidates to clients and coordinate all interview logistics, including scheduling and follow-up.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews by providing coaching, expectations, and situational insights.
  • Manage contract extensions and ensure all required documentation is executed accurately and on time.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer, project closeout documentation, and offboarding activities are completed for each engagement.
  • Provide updates and responses to Vendor Management System (VMS) representatives and customer stakeholders, assisting with VMS processes as needed.
  • Complete and manage staffing resource assignments in Professional Services Automation System.
  • Request WOs for your engagements and work with Sales, Delivery, and Contracting on distributing and executing those documents.
  • Request SOWs for your staffing projects so Contracting and Sales can have a draft document to work with.
  • Submit client onboarding requests for your engagements in a timely and accurate manner to ensure a smooth and efficient client onboarding for your accounts.
  • Lead or participate in internal initiatives, process improvements, or ad hoc projects that support team and organizational goals.
  • Contributing to team objectives and outcomes through collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Performs other generally related duties as assigned.
