About The Position

The position involves delivering tailor-made solutions that elevate the customer experience with American Airlines. It's all about understanding our clients' needs, crafting strategic programs, and effectively communicating product updates. You'll play a pivotal role in influencing customers' decisions and contributing to the growth and engagement of our accounts. Being knowledgeable about the market and having the ability to build strong, influential relationships are key aspects of this role. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • 3+ years experience working in Sales, Revenue Management, Revenue Analysis or other airline commercial teams
  • Ability to operate in a highly competitive, demanding environment
  • Ability to communicate to high level executives
  • Strong account strategy development and execution skills required
  • Understanding of modern retailing approaches and strategies
  • Understanding of modern airline distribution technology such as NDC, online booking tools, GDSs

Responsibilities

  • Partner with corporate or agency accounts to develop outcomes to benefit the customers of American Airlines when they fly
  • Analyzes customer needs through both online and in-person meetings with agency or corporate partners
  • Coordinates and implements programs with appropriate field and staff departments
  • Prepares correspondence, proposals and presentations to support retailing activity
  • Communicates updates on AA products and services as needed
