About The Position

The job is a member of the Sales team within the Global Sales Division. This role is responsible for managing relationships with corporate and agency accounts to deliver tailored solutions that enhance the customer experience with American Airlines. The position focuses on understanding client needs, implementing strategic programs, and communicating product updates to support account growth and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in account management or related experience
  • Fluently read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to operate in a highly competitive, demanding environment
  • Ability to communicate to high level executives
  • Strong account strategy development and execution skills required
  • Understanding of modern retailing approaches and strategies
  • Understanding of modern airline distribution technology such as NDC, online booking tools, GDSs

Responsibilities

  • Partner with corporate and agency accounts to develop solutions that enhance the travel experience for American Airlines customers
  • Analyze customer needs through regular engagement, including virtual and in-person meetings, to identify opportunities and tailor account strategies
  • Coordinate and implement sales programs and initiatives in collaboration with field teams and internal departments
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and correspondence to support sales efforts and communicate value to clients
  • Provide timely updates on American Airlines products, services, and policies to ensure clients are informed and equipped to support travelers
  • Coordinate and implement commercial initiatives with airline alliance partners to ensure strategic alignment, maximize joint opportunities, and enhance value delivery across shared customer segments
  • Monitor account performance and customer feedback to refine strategies and improve service delivery
  • Support contract-related activities and ensure smooth onboarding and implementation for new or renewing accounts
  • Represent American Airlines in client interactions and industry events, advocating for customer needs and promoting partnership growth
