About The Position

This role involves introducing small and medium business (SMB) customers to Verizon's latest high-tech 5G products and services. The Account Manager will interact with SMB customers in the retail store, digitally, and through outbound prospecting. The primary goal is to demonstrate the value of Verizon's products and services by providing end-to-end technology solutions to energize their businesses. The position focuses on driving small business results by generating new business through prospecting, networking, and working leads and referrals. It also involves partnering with and mentoring Consumer Retail Sales Representatives to drive results through the retail channel. The Account Manager will grow their customer base by acquiring and retaining accounts in the small business segment, utilizing solutions-based selling techniques to solve business problems, and servicing the needs of the existing customer base. The role requires using sales enablement systems and tools to track, forecast, and manage the pipeline and book of business. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Three or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
  • Experience in sales, marketing or customer service
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel
