The position involves servicing a designated book of business with a focus on marketing, claims, and administration. The role requires responding to client inquiries, maintaining documentation of communications, existing issues, and resolutions, and supporting the implementation of new lines of coverage. This includes setting up accounts, collecting necessary documentation, and reviewing plan details with clients and carriers. The individual will gather and compile exposure information from clients, including loss-run schedules and client stratifications, and will be responsible for requesting and collecting quotes from carriers, auditing quotes, binders, and endorsements, and processing audits to create analysis for clients. Additionally, the role involves updating policy specifications and ensuring the completeness of policies, monitoring quotes from carriers, binding coverage under the direction of the Unit Manager/Account Executive, and informing clients of any changes that may affect their insurance premiums or coverage. The position also includes gathering information for new business opportunities, inputting client information into a data management system, generating materials for client presentations, issuing and processing client invoicing, and engaging with the Producer and Accounting Department to determine action plans for collection efforts or billing discrepancies. The individual will also research industry trends and governmental regulations and perform other responsibilities as needed.
