Requirements

  • 4-year degree and 2+ years of successful B2B inside sales experience (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience selling custom engineered or manufactured products
  • Background in consultative/value-based selling
  • Strong communicator with a service-first mindset
  • Business-savvy with sharp attention to detail
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and quick to learn
  • Skilled in ERPs, CRMs, and technical systems
  • You bring energy and optimism to work every day
  • You think like an owner
  • You’re driven, accountable, and aligned with strong core values

Responsibilities

  • Build Strategic Partnerships:
  • Become an extension of your customers’ team, understand their operations, challenges, and goals
  • Provide operational and strategic recommendations that help them win
  • Deliver exceptional service that strengthens long-term relationships
  • Drive Revenue & Growth:
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Generate and qualify leads through calls, emails, social selling, and presentations
  • Set pricing and negotiating terms aligned with company guidelines
  • Exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Solve Problems & Create Value:
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Scheduling, Production, and Shipping to ensure flawless execution
  • Troubleshoot customer challenges using internal expertise and external research
  • Maintain a high level of outbound activity and proactive engagement
  • Stay informed on industry trends in wire & cable, engineered manufacturing, and B2B markets
  • Stay Organized & Accountable:
  • Keep accurate CRM records and prepare timely reports
  • Remain highly organized, coachable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
