About The Position

S&K Building Services is growing fast and is in search of an Account Manager to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. As a successful Account Manager, you will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. You will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services.

Requirements

  • You have 3-5 years of sales experience in the Field Service industry
  • You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and building strong customer relationships
  • You have experience working with CRMs such as Smart Service
  • You have familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • You are tech savvy
  • You have strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • You are self motivated and driven
  • You are available to work occasional evenings and weekends if needed
  • You have a valid driver's license
  • You reside in or are willing to relocate to the Lansing, Detroit, or Grand Rapids area
  • You are able to travel within your assigned territory

Responsibilities

  • Increase sales using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations etc)
  • Forecast sales, develop "out of the box" sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
  • Attend meeting, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
  • Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
  • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
