About The Position

This position is responsible for generating leads, maintaining and growing new and/or existing customers tele-virtually in an assigned territory comprised of various healthcare facilities. This role will support an array of promotional strategies including direct sales, lead generation, brand & disease-state awareness, contracting pull-through, as well as ad-hoc customer touchpoints as needed. This is a hybrid position that will be based out of our Westborough, MA facility. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, managing a sales pipeline, and forecasting business. Collaboration with the Field Sales Team is essential to develop and implement territory business plans designed to achieve sales quotas. The role requires identifying focus areas for driving sales through partnerships with the Omnichannel Marketing and Analytics team. Building sustainable business relationships with Physicians, Nurses, Technicians, and other Hospital staff is crucial, as is prioritizing and delivering outstanding sales experiences to customers. The candidate will partner with Omnichannel Marketing and Analytics & Reporting functions to create new business opportunities in alignment with company focus and priorities. Proactive outbound sales activities such as lead generation, post-sales customer follow-up, and promotional campaigns to existing customers, prospects, and leads will be part of the daily responsibilities. The candidate will need to prospect relentlessly to build a pipeline and establish strong personal relationships with prospects, meeting and exceeding activity expectations and goals as provided by the Sales Development Manager. A sound understanding of the Olympus Medical Systems Group product portfolio is necessary, along with the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, field Territory Managers, and Sales Leadership. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
