About The Position

Carrier Enterprise, a leading national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, is seeking a dedicated Account Manager for Residential Sales at our [specific location]. Join a team that excels in providing top-notch HVAC/R products, parts, and supplies through licensed HVAC/R dealers and contractors. The HVAC Account Manager for Residential Sales oversees residential and contractor sales of Carrier & Bryant equipment and HVAC parts, and supplies. This role will be a crucial influence in securing new contractors and maintaining existing client relationships while being accountable for driving sales and maintaining a strong customer base in their territory. This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated performance history in sales and new market development.
  • Equipment, parts, supplies, and light commercial HVAC experience highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence.
  • Highly motivated self-starter that can manage time independently.
  • Strong business/problem-solving skills, high sense of urgency, and strong communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and CRM-Salesforce preferred.
  • Process-oriented with attention to detail.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
  • 3 years of technical experience in HVAC preferred.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude and have strong customer service skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must possess the ability to problem-solve and multi-task.
  • Driver's License: Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze your territory and develop, execute, and monitor sales programs that will attract competitor accounts and new customers.
  • Create and develop long-term relationships with both existing and new customers.
  • Manage any customer issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and build long-term relationships with them.
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities while developing and executing strategic plans to help grow existing customers' business.
  • Attend sales meetings with management to review monthly activities and progress or issues.
  • Ability to present and manage Watsco Ventures and digital programs.
