You will be working closely with and reporting to IDEAL’s Vice President. We are looking for a qualified Account Manager to build relationships with existing customers and forge new relationships with new customers.

  • Travel within the assigned territory or account base to identify and develop business opportunities
  • Meet with customers of OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), EPC’s (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), and end-users
  • Present technical seminars on large machines
  • Identify new customers and develop market strategy
  • Manage marketing and sales actions
  • Negotiate contracts for large machines
  • Manage the technical and commercial support to OEMs, EPCs and end-users in the territory
  • Coordinate sales activities with other Account Managers, as needed
  • Work with Application Engineers to resolve issues related to requests for quotations
  • Provide guidance, as needed, to application engineers in order to clarify customer requirements
  • Manage purchase orders and contracts
  • Coordinate the analysis of contract terms
  • Resolve order entry issues
  • Engage in technical discussions with engineering teams at the factories, as needed
  • Sales Experience: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Electric Motor/Generators Experience: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Experienced working with customers and vendors in a B2B environment
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
