Requirements

  • 0–3 years of customer service or sales experience.
  • Prior experience in diagnostics, medical devices, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to engage in consultative selling, effectively connecting client needs with Guardant Health's solutions and capabilities.
  • Comfortable communicating and presenting confidently at all levels within an organization.
  • Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently, proactively communicate, manage multiple priorities/projects, and meet critical deadlines.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation combined with outstanding listening, problem-solving, and strategic account planning skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated skill in building cross-functional relationships to achieve business objectives.
  • Comfortable operating with minimal supervision while maintaining high performance.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, technical aptitude, and administrative capabilities to thrive in complex, fast-paced environments.

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory.
  • Must reside within the designated territory.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary customer-facing representative, delivering exceptional field client service while partnering closely with Guardant Health colleagues on comprehensive account management.
  • Support healthcare providers (HCPs) by operationalizing test requests and ensuring timely sample collection for Guardant Health assays within existing client accounts.
  • Utilize company tools and resources to troubleshoot and resolve customer orders, reporting issues, and inquiries—collaborating with Client Services as needed.
  • Partner with field sales teams to drive achievement of company goals and objectives.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective customers, identifying opportunities to align Guardant Health's capabilities with their clinical and patient needs.
  • Monitor the commercial landscape within assigned accounts, analyze trends, and deliver actionable customer feedback to leadership.
  • Ensure team goals and performance objectives are consistently met.
  • Collaborate effectively and compliantly across multiple departments throughout Guardant Health.
  • Adhere to all company Compliance, Privacy, and Business Conduct policies, as well as standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Consistently embody and represent Guardant Health's culture, values, and mission in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
