A growing insurance firm is seeking a Retail Account Manager to support and manage a high-volume book of small business clients. Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of insurance experience (commercial or personal lines)
  • Strong background in client relationship management
  • Experience with policy renewals, endorsements, and quoting
  • Ability to clearly explain insurance products to small business owners
  • Comfortable managing a high-volume book of business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

Nice To Haves

  • Mandarin-speaking preferred (many clients are Mandarin-speaking business owners)
  • P&C License preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of small business clients
  • Manage hundreds of active accounts with a strong focus on retention
  • Handle policy renewals (approximately 50% auto-renewed)
  • Quote and present coverage options based on client needs
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships (95% warm, referral-based business)
  • Communicate regularly with business owners to educate them on coverage options
  • Address client questions, policy updates, and resolve issues as they arise
  • Conduct occasional in-person client visits
