About The Position
United Trades of America is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator for a Roofing Restoration Company. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in estimating residential roofing projects and have substantial experience with Xactimate or similar estimation software. This role involves significant data entry, working with insurance companies, and engaging in negotiations to ensure accurate and profitable estimates. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of residential roofing projects, utilizing Xactimate software for detailed and precise estimates, and maintaining detailed records of estimates and project specifics. In this position, the Estimator will work closely with insurance companies to ensure that estimates meet requirements and support claim processes. Effective negotiation skills are essential to ensure profitable and competitive project bids. Clear communication with clients, insurance representatives, and internal teams is crucial to ensure all parties are aligned and informed throughout the estimating process. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time position located in Carmel, IN, with a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $90,000 per year, along with opportunities for professional growth and career advancement within a supportive and collaborative work environment.
