This position sits within our Healthcare Design & Consulting team-home to architects, engineers, and planners dedicated to improving how care is delivered through thoughtful, high-performance environments. As a Healthcare Design Account Manager, you'll help shape early planning conversations, steward client goals through the design process, and ensure our teams are delivering exceptional outcomes that align with each organization's strategic vision.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities within existing and emerging healthcare accounts.
  • Lead proposal development and participate in shortlist interviews.
  • Work in partnership with marketing and leadership to elevate Haskell's presence in the healthcare design space.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key healthcare design clients.
  • Lead account planning, opportunity development, and client relationship growth.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to align design solutions with client goals.
  • Represent Haskell in strategic conversations-from master planning through design execution.
  • Support programming, planning, and design efforts to ensure project goals remain client-focused.
  • Guide internal teams on client expectations, project priorities, and communication strategies.
  • Facilitate design charrettes, user group meetings, and executive presentations.
  • Monitor project performance, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule alignment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in architecture, engineering, planning, or healthcare consulting, with a focus on design leadership or client management.
  • A degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; professional licensure is a plus.
  • Proven success building and managing long-term client relationships.
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare operations, capital planning, and design challenges.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills-comfortable with executives and end users alike.
