Gallagher's Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) consulting teams leverage our real-world expertise and clinical insights to keep our clients aware of issues impacting their prescription drug plans. We assess PBM contracts, design new ones and provide ongoing consulting focused on audits, managing costs and increasing plan satisfactions. Our Pharmacy Alliance is designed to specifically to provide small to midsize employers with better pricing and services than they would not be able to access on their own.

  • Manage Gallagher Pharmacy Alliance clients including communication and publishing schedules associated with all incoming accounts and transfer accounts.
  • Maintain professional communication with Sales Staff, Account Managers, Incoming Pharmacy Benefit Management company (PBM), and Outgoing PBM.
  • Plan and follow up on intense schedules.
  • Work with Account Management team to ensure client implementations are on-track for all deliverables.
  • Define project goals and objectives independently.
  • Deliver program design and implementation plan to PBM manager for approval.
  • Maintain daily communication with all outside vendor partner groups to identify and resolve customer service issues proactively.
  • Monitor financial reports such as einvoice and ebilling to validate accuracy and project financial issues.
  • Oversee daily assignments and workloads of all clinical PBM Assistants.
  • Manage schedule and delivery of internal department tasks and responsibilities to ensure client implementations are on-track for all deliverables.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple schedules for multiple account implementations.
  • Monitor account performance through data analytics.
  • Work with management to set mutually beneficial annual goals and strategize to decrease utilization of expensive pharmaceuticals, multiple drug classes, and narcotics.
  • Support large national account initiatives and deliverables.
  • Resolve and track client service issues and solve problems.
  • Serve as one point of contact for issue resolution and problem solving.
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of Account Management experience OR High School degree with 5 or more years client management experience.
  • Must live in eastern or central time zone.
  • Experience working at or with one or more PBMs.
  • Familiar with employee benefit plans including prescription coverage.
  • Experience with new client implementation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly determine critical issues.
