About The Position

The Facility Solutions Manager is responsible for overseeing the business operations of a designated client service area. This role involves providing field support, managing client relationships, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. The position also includes negotiating contracts, managing contractor relationships, and coordinating site visits to foster long-term partnerships with clients and contractors.

Requirements

  • 3-5 plus years of sales and management experience in building maintenance, facility management, or equivalent experience.
  • High School diploma required; bachelor's degree highly desirable.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent follow-through on commitments.
  • Positive and outgoing personality with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in CRM databases.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of assigned client relationships, including client retention, expansion, and diversification of City Wide building solutions and/or products.
  • Formulate and manage an effective service strategy and schedule tailored to each client.
  • Negotiate and enter into agreements with clients for additional services, determining pricing, staffing, and logistics.
  • Manage all Contractor relationships, including interviewing and hiring, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and ensuring compliance.
  • Ensure a standard of excellence in quality and client satisfaction through detailed quality control inspections and follow-through with clients.
  • Supervise and direct Night Managers to ensure the execution of client strategies and service performance.
  • Ensure adequate staffing needs to service clients, both internal and external.
  • Promote the sale of, procure, and monitor supplies for clients.
  • Effectively communicate client issues with Contractors and the Director of Operations, addressing any problems promptly.
  • Use City Wide's CRM for client inspections and management tasks.
  • Schedule non-routine activities in client facilities using Outlook.
  • Update and maintain all Building Information Sheets (BIS) and ensure MSDS sheets are complete and accurate.
  • Notify Sales Executives of potential accounts, especially new construction.
  • Discuss quality control surveys with clients and encourage their feedback.
  • Communicate client survey responses to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement plans to resolve client complaints or service deficiencies with the Director of Operations and Night Managers.
  • Approve pay sheets for Night Managers and/or Service Representatives, ensuring accuracy.
  • Assist Accounting in collecting past due invoices and payments for Contractors.
  • Maintain updated route sheets, key/alarm sheets, and monthly planners for each client.
  • Participate in monthly IC paydays.
