About The Position

As an Account Manager at Marsh McLennan Agency's Midwest Region, your role is to ensure the successful delivery of services to clients by creating and implementing customized service plans. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, negotiating coverage, and managing proposals and renewals. Additionally, you will maintain accurate client information and foster a collaborative service experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years previous insurance experience in applicable insurance products/lines
• Experience with various funding mechanisms and Employee Benefit techniques
• Negotiating contracts and leading renewal meetings
• Presenting at open enrollment meetings
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in project tasks
• Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Agency Management Systems
• Ability to interpret complex documents such as insurance policies and proposals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy team environment

Nice To Haves

• Life & Health license preferred, or ability to obtain upon hire
• BS/BA in Business, Insurance or related field
• GBA, CEBS, VBS or other professional insurance designation related to Benefits
• Experience working with Applied Epic, agency management system
• Willingness to travel for client meetings as needed
