The Account Manager, Client Services at Octagon is responsible for leading client business and managing day-to-day client programs, particularly in the sports and entertainment sectors. This role involves working closely with a major travel industry leader and requires exceptional organizational skills, flexibility in working hours, and the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously. The Account Manager will also oversee a Senior Account Executive and report to the Group Account Director, ensuring effective communication and relationship management with clients and partners.

  • Serve as a reliable agency contact for client sponsorship team and internal cross functional client teams
  • Day-to-day contact of regional based sports properties and talent relationships
  • Manage and lead weekly status meetings with the support of the Senior Account Executive
  • Communicate regularly with various client stakeholders to deliver against the objectives of those stakeholders
  • Maintain and grow key relationships with property partners and vendors
  • Lead asset management (i.e., audit compliance, ticket allocations, and financial tracking)
  • Support budget tracking and timely reporting
  • Support other team and account wide activations
  • Consistently stay up-to-date with the travel industry and the sports world
  • 4+ years of experience in entertainment, sports sponsorship, or event marketing industries
  • Strong understanding of the sports sponsorship space
  • Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while producing quality work within strict timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team while also able to solve problems effectively and independently
  • Strong self-starter with excellent team dynamics; proactive and willing to jump in wherever needed
  • Property management experience
  • Experience in creating exceptional integrated marketing programming
