Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty license.
  • Experience in managing assigned accounts through the client life cycle, including the renewal process.
  • Solid coverage, underwriting, and risk management knowledge.
  • Effective oral and written communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct presentations and speak to diverse groups.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as agency management systems and web browser software.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or other related fields.
  • Insurance designations.
  • Experience with Epic.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships within your own assigned book of accounts.
  • Provide professional insurance services to clients by coordinating with Producers, Underwriters, Service Team members, and other departments.
  • Provide coverage analysis and risk management recommendations.
  • Complete applications and prepare submissions.
  • Negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers.
  • Prepare proposals according to agency standards.
  • Resolve issues related to billing and make policy changes.
  • Respond to policy coverage related questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare exposure comparison, premium comparisons, renewal reviews, and renewal proposals.
  • Participate in continuing education to maintain a P&C license and stay current with regulations.
