We’re currently seeking an Account Manager to support our CMMC Sales and Business Development.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of the business development/sales lifecycle
  • Experience with sales pipeline and forecast
  • Experience with developing proposals related to CMMC offerings
  • Ability to communicate with various Senior back-office stakeholders including Marketing, Contracts, Finance, Delivery.
  • Collaboration with the CMMC Marketing Team to drive demand across the CMMC landscape.
  • Assists in developing organizational sales strategy related to CMMC
  • Background in client management process from pre-sales to contract closure
  • Experience with developing competitive intelligence related to sales opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills to work with technical leaders, business executives, customers, and subcontractors
  • Proficiency in Salesforce
  • Ability to support ad hoc business development opportunities outside of CMMC if needed
  • Willingness and adaptability to learn an emerging and growing market in the cyber space

Nice To Haves

  • Background in Commercial and Federal sales practices, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with various cybersecurity governance risk and compliance standards, or frameworks such as including FedRAMP and FISMA.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients to move them through the pipeline
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospects through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leaders in the execution and strategy of the CMMC sales program.
  • Support with leads for CMMC compliance services within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
  • Negotiate pricing agreements for CMMC opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and consultants.
  • Develop proposals to meet the unique needs of potential clients.
