Responsibilities

  • Drive the entirety of the relationship for each partnership, collaborating with multiple accounts and partners to understand company needs and vision.
  • Work with Expedia's internal business partners in commercial, product, customer service, technology, marketing, and accounting to translate that to growth for both parties.
  • Use insight, industry expertise, and influence to get buy-in from both internal and external decision-makers on ways to grow partnerships for the long term.
  • Analyze and report on performance weekly, monthly, and quarterly to spot trends, find opportunities and issues, and gain new insight into the partnership.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face visits and weekly calls to strengthen partnerships, identify joint opportunities, and stay current on business trends.
  • Build unique commercial incentives and proposals to increase share of wallet and negotiate amendments to existing agreements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for Expedia's business units, providing outstanding customer service through timely, high-quality issue resolution.
  • Grasp the 'big' picture for PLS, our business, and the partner, using influence and expertise to support the success of both parties.

Requirements

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred background in B2B technology, online travel or airline/hotel supplier, sales/account management, consulting.
  • Bachelor's degree or Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or related field preferred, or equivalent related professional experience.
