Arcadis is seeking a Strategic Account Manager with demonstrated relationships across Government Contractors nationwide. This role will focus on driving the growth of Arcadis' multidisciplined vertical design services across multiple Defense Contractors, while providing strategic support to the overall Defense leadership team.

Requirements

  • 10 to 15 years sales/leadership experience
  • Strong experience as a senior client developer with a significant presence in the Defense/Federal Sector
  • Ambitious mindset and a drive to grow the business and meet targets
  • Experience working with contractors in the US Defense sector, and expert in building relationships and external networks
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and strategic focus with excellent commercial drive and decisiveness
  • Aptitude to manage relationships at executive level
  • Strong communication skills to present Arcadis’ value propositions
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Defense Contractor Account Leader to sell One Arcadis across all our Business Areas (Buildings, Water, Environment).
  • Develop and improve client growth plans and individual pursuit strategies for assigned key clients.
  • Work across each Arcadis business area, existing Account Managers and Operations leadership to support a diversified client portfolio.
  • Leverage knowledge and expertise on DOD Defense strategy and employ winning strategies for new contracts and task orders and identify and help negotiate teaming arrangements to penetrate new markets, services, and clients.
  • Actively engage in opportunity positioning, including team development and proposal development leadership. Often, you will be charged with leading multiple concurrent pursuits.
  • Responsible for new business development and task order pipeline, and overall contract administration.
  • Partner with internal contract / program execution teams to ensure successful project delivery including quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other account leaders to develop targeted pursuit strategies and expand Arcadis' presence in federal markets.
  • Work with the Defense Sector leadership team on the overall Defense Contractor growth strategy and identify areas for additional growth, focus, and investment.
  • This role requires frequent client engagement, with an emphasis on building and maintaining strong relationships through regular in-person meetings.
  • Engage in outward facing market events and share thought leadership.

  • The salary range for this position is $113,933 - $174,697. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
