About The Position

Our expansion into bioprocessing is part of our commitment to driving innovation in the biotech field. The newly established Center for Bioprocessing (C4B), strategically located within the renowned Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas, is situated at Levit Green. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and staffed by a dedicated team of experts, C4B is poised to drive innovation in bioprocessing. We are looking for a motivated Junior Account Executive to join our dynamic and growing team. This is an entry-level hybrid position, offering the opportunity to build a career in sales and account management within the biotech industry. You will work closely with a supportive team, leveraging collaboration and communication to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional client service. While this position is hybrid, we strongly emphasize team culture and collaboration. You will be a key part of a team that values openness, communication, and collective success.

Requirements

• Previous junior level sales experience in the life sciences industry, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals, preferably involving reagents and contract research services.
• Strong understanding of molecular and cell biology concepts, coupled with exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills for effective engagement with researchers.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Life Sciences, Biology, or a related field preferred.
• Preferably based in or within commutable distance to Washington D.C. with the ability to travel locally to meet with clients.
• Must be able to lift and move 25-50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients, leveraging scientific expertise to understand their needs and recommend suitable products and services.
• Present reagents and contract research services effectively, collaborate with internal teams for seamless order fulfillment, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets while staying updated on industry trends and competitors to adapt sales strategies.
• Travel within the Washington D.C. area to visit clients, ensuring strong customer relationships and personalized service.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support team objectives and business needs, including but not limited to assisting with cross-functional projects and ad hoc assignments.
