About The Position

Momentum is looking for a passionate Associate (aka Account Executive) to play an integral role in the development and execution of experiential activations, digital initiatives, and sports sponsorships for a New York-based financial services client. You’ll assist with managing client, sports and venue properties, and agency relationships, building and executing activations from start to finish, and assist the larger Business Leadership team in building the client’s portfolio across the sports and entertainment industries. The Associate should be highly organized, driven, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of business experience OR relevant experience in marketing (preferably in sports, entertainment, partnerships/sponsorships, and/or experiential fields)
  • Previous experience developing and executing campaigns and events with a focus on sports sponsorships – from planning, to on-site execution, and recapping
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task, problem solve, prioritize, and manage their time efficiently
  • Must be proactive and can work both independently and with multiple teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Regularly delivers quality work (creatively and strategically solid) that achieves client goals and KPIs and is within budget parameters
  • Strong computer skills – MS Office (including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Google Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.)
  • Polished, professional demeanor, projects confidence and enthusiasm for the business

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of agency experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support fulfilment of sponsorship deliverables and contractual assets, and provide consultative feedback to the client on opportunities as needed
  • Provide day-to-day support for a specific portfolio of partners, managing relationships with client(s), sport/entertainment properties, and external agency partners (project and administrative)
  • Manage various projects and activations through planning, execution, and post-event recapping
  • Learn client and agency financial procedures to assist with tracking, reporting, and ensuring project budgets
  • Create and manage project timelines and ensure all deliverables are completed by their deadlines
  • Work cross-functionally within the agency on client deliverables
  • Effectively communicate in a timely and accurate manner
  • Build a thorough understanding of the client’s business, goals, and KPIs, and analyze client results into actionable takeaways
  • Some travel is required for this role
  • Stay abreast of industry and competitive trends in the marketplace to have a finger on the pulse of sports and culture to identify future opportunities
