About The Position

The Advertising Sales Executive is a member of a high-performing, team-oriented group of marketing & sales professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing your current accounts, and also acquiring new business partners across an assigned geography within the North Bay region.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, advertising, or a related field, with a track record of sales targets
  • Strong lead generation and closing skills, with a keen ability to identify opportunities and drive acquisition of new customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of prospects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
  • A team-oriented mindset, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues while pursuing individual goals
  • 2 years experience in selling, marketing or customer facing roles
  • Must be willing to submit and pass the necessary required checks
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
  • This position entails occasional driving for work assignments, in-person training sessions and/or meetings. The employee will be responsible for transporting themselves between different sites as needed
  • Must be available for shift work. May be required to work various hours for coverage outside of normal business hours

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with a range of advertising solutions, including print, digital, events and social media platforms is helpful
  • Experience with CRM management platforms is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required

  • Control account churn, maintain current customers with exceptional service and results
  • Build and pursue a robust sales funnel of prospects and schedule purposeful meetings to learn, present and close
  • Turn your prospects into customers by selling offerings from our portfolio of comprehensive advertising and marketing solutions
  • Consistently achieve sales revenue goals and meet minimum activity metrics
  • Be self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for meeting business owners and/or marketing professionals and turning them into customers with your guidance, advice, and ideas
