About The Position

Trusted by over 2,000,000 users from 300,000 companies globally, Ideals helps people run high-stakes processes and make important decisions with less stress, higher quality, and shorter hours, specifically through their Virtual Data Room (VDR) for secure document sharing and collaboration. To support the rapid expansion of the Ideals VDR line of business in the US, the company is looking for an Account Executive (Business Development Associate) based in the Minneapolis area. This role is part of the Field Sales team and involves proactively prospecting outbound opportunities, acquiring new customers, and ultimately closing deals. As a front-line, quota-carrying team member, the Account Executive will actively reach out to 30-40 new customers monthly, overseeing a pipeline with 50+ opportunities. The role requires engaging proactively with C-suite and key account decision-makers across Finance, Banking, and other sectors, contributing directly to Ideals' growth story in the US market. The compensation package consists of 55% base salary and 45% performance-based variable. This is a fully remote role that requires traveling to client sites for in-person consultations.

Requirements

  • 1.5–2 years of demonstrable success in direct sales or business development within B2B or professional services sector
  • Experience in high-velocity sales environments and effectively engaging with decision-makers
  • A track record of successfully managing pipelines and closing high-value deals
  • Exceptional business communication skills to structure persuasive pitches and navigate client discovery
  • Native-level proficiency in English
  • University degree with a strong overall GPA

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and industry influencers throughout the Minneapolis region
  • Deliver sales targets by focusing on new customer acquisition
  • Proactively build and manage a pipeline, working with strategic US accounts and constantly developing new opportunities
  • Actively contribute to the execution of the sales and marketing strategy for the US
  • Take part in arranging M&A Community events, enhancing Ideals' visibility
  • Deliver compelling product presentations to clients
  • Structure, negotiate, and close deals
  • Consistently share insights and provide updates to customers
  • Provide relevant customer feedback to the product development and management teams
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Inside Sales to grow customer satisfaction and the company’s revenue
