About The Position

Global Gateway Advisors is a global strategic communications consultancy that works with organizations across health, technology, international affairs, and corporate public affairs at moments that matter. We help our clients navigate complexity, engage stakeholders with clarity, and move ideas into action. We’re looking for an Account Executive who is curious and collaborative, takes pride in the details, and is eager to learn while contributing to thoughtful, high‑impact work. We are looking for an Account Executive with a minimum of one to two years of real-world experience in a client-service/agency communications environment. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to strategic communications programs by conducting research that uncovers thoughtful insights; writing, editing and proofreading documents such as press releases, briefing materials, messaging documents and other materials; preparing internal and client meeting agendas and recap reports; monitoring media and social media for clients and industry trends; leading media relations efforts including drafting media pitches, updating media lists and pitching reporters/editors and participating in firm initiatives.

Requirements

  • One to two years of experience in communications; agency experience and exposure to healthcare or technology a plus
  • Experience working directly with clients
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and reliable in meeting deadlines
  • Professional presence with a strong sense of urgency and client service orientation
  • Sound judgment and the ability to solve problems independently when needed
  • Proficiency in social media across key platforms, both personally and professionally
  • BA/BS in a relevant field (Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit core communications materials, including press releases, media pitches, media lists, backgrounders, fact sheets, letters, and spokesperson bios
  • Use AI tools to support research, writing, analysis, and project execution in accordance with firm policy; write effective prompts, evaluate outputs critically, and apply sound judgment
  • Plan and support virtual and in‑person events such as media briefings, webinars, virtual gatherings, and VIP receptions
  • Conduct research to support client initiatives and strategic programs
  • Monitor and analyze traditional and social media to track narratives, issues, and emerging themes
  • Mentor junior team members, including interns, ensuring high‑quality, accurate work delivered on time
  • Stay current on media coverage, trends, and narratives to inform client programs
  • Contribute to business development efforts and firm‑wide initiatives, supporting a collaborative, growth‑oriented culture
