The Account Executive is responsible for generating new business and expanding existing client relationships within the Audio-Visual (AV) Integration and Managed Services space. This outside sales role requires a consultative approach to understanding customer needs and delivering tailored AV solutions that include hardware, software, design, installation, and support services. Key responsibilities include identifying and qualifying prospects, conducting on-site client meetings, delivering presentations and proposals, and closing sales opportunities. The Account Executive will work closely with engineering, project management, and support teams to ensure proposed solutions are aligned with client objectives and executed to the highest standard. Strong knowledge of AV systems—such as video conferencing, digital signage, sound reinforcement, control systems, and classroom or conference room technologies—is essential. The ability to build trust, navigate technical conversations, and manage long sales cycles is critical to success. This position operates primarily in the field, with frequent visits to K–12 schools, higher education institutions, corporate offices, municipal/government buildings, and other commercial environments. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, personable, highly organized, and driven to meet and exceed performance targets in a competitive industry.
