Rystad Energy is a leading independent research, data, and consulting firm focused on the global energy industry. The Account Executive will focus on expanding Rystad’s relationships with existing clients in Financial Sector – predominantly in Southern United States. This includes a wide range of clients, including institutional investors (private equity, asset managers, hedge funds, etc.), investment banking and equity research institutions, insurance companies, among others. Candidate must have exceptional account management capabilities with a goal of retaining and growing our existing client base – as well as opportunities to participate in new business and land new logos. As part of the sales team, the role holder can expect the support of our global client-facing research analysts and product specialists. Strong negotiation skills, knowledge of the global energy sector – oil & gas and renewables, experience in selling market intelligence services, a consultative selling approach, product demonstrations and excellent networking skills are sought. The role holder is expected to be able to network with Managing Directors and the C-suite. Travel will be expected nationally with occasional international trips. Location for this role will be based out of the firm’s Houston, TX office.
