At Can/Am, we have been creating great software that empowers our clients to provide outstanding service to their customers for over 15 years. Our Teller Cashiering software is an industry-leading solution that automates and streamlines the cashiering and reconciliation processes for Local Government. Can/Am serves clients across North America, with staff operating in the following locations: Edmonton Alberta and Denver Colorado. You will be a key player in identify and developing new client accounts, building lasting relationships, working alongside a committed group of professionals. In addition, you will execute the full sales cycle, contribute to sales strategy development, and represent Can/Am at industry conferences. You will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing. This position would cover a number of central states (15) ranging from Texas to Minnesota. Eight of those states already have Teller clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a direct Account Executive position
  • Sales experience in the public sector market strongly preferred
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
  • Willingness to travel at least 30% of the time
  • Residence in Texas highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
  • Identify and develop new clients for SaaS products and services
  • Research and pursue sales opportunities and new business development
  • Occasionally conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients if Sales Solution Consultants are unavailable
  • Prepare proposals and assist in contract negotiations
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals
  • Represent the company at various sales conferences and industry events
  • Prepare and deliver sales materials, exhibits, and presentations
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide regular sales reports
  • Build positive relationships with partners and distributors
  • Provide feedback on market trends and competitive landscape
