About The Position

With direction from the National Sales Manager this position manages the wholesale channel for assigned accounts. As Account Executive, you will maintain and develop an existing customer base and work proactively to secure new clients. As a successful Account Executive, you will build on your entrepreneurial spirit and will be expected to regularly meet or exceed sales targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with major department store wholesale accounts
  • Clear understanding of retail financial measurements
  • Ability to function in a fast paced environment
  • Effective communication and written skills
  • Self-motivated, ability to take initiative to complete tasks quickly and independently
  • Solution oriented, strong problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs including Excel, Power point, and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts for all accounts.
  • Manage, develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers in assigned accounts.
  • Represent the brand and communicate Brahmin goals and brand strategy.
  • Establish strategies to achieve assigned sales revenue targets quarterly and annually.
  • Take a proactive approach to making recommendations to further drive the business, identify and react to new opportunities.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to increase profitability.
  • Be knowledgeable about market and competitor performance and trends.
  • Present the collection in market to accounts and convey the brand strategy and key concepts.
  • Review and analyze delivery by style selling weekly. Complete monthly financial OTB with planning partners. Recognize challenges and opportunities and communicate.
  • Prospect and developing new client relationships within a defined geography and in line with Brahmin identified priorities.
  • Provide fluid communication on a weekly basis with assigned Accounts and Brahmin Management.
  • Plan regular store visits coordinating with field merchandiser and specialists to drive Brahmin brand strategy and to maximize location sales and understand specific market needs.
