Requirements

  • Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of exceeding goals in media and digital sales.
  • Strong Business Acumen: Ability to develop new business while strategically managing and growing existing client relationships.
  • Customer Management: Able and comfortable making strong, compelling face-to-face presentations to local and regional clients (vs relying on video)
  • Skilled Targeting: Ability to identify and develop businesses with high spending potential and scale.
  • Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of advertising and marketing, especially digital (required), audio, and interactive platforms.
  • Creative & Strategic Mindset: A creative mind to put together unique campaigns focused on solving client needs, combined with strong problem-solving skills to identify an opportunity in every challenge.
  • Relationships: An array of successful business relationships to speak proudly about.
  • Core Attributes: Self-motivated, proactive problem solver, tenacious, adaptable, detail-oriented, and money-motivated.
  • A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the needs and success of existing customers, ensuring every campaign is performing to its top potential for client success. In addition, a constant regime of client development by networking and prospecting businesses to provide integrated marketing solutions.
  • Responsible for exceeding sales budget and collection of sold accounts.
  • Maintain account lists while soliciting new business.
  • Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, and advertising proposals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients by providing top quality service.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems.
  • Communicate with other departments to assure quality service in placing orders and arranging promotional events.
  • Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and client remotes.
  • Performs all other tasks perceived, assigned, and/or required that contribute to the smooth running of the department and to the achievement of departmental and station goals.
